Short answer

  • It's a secret boss, not a rollable unit — confirmed by the game's own Quests panel.
  • Defeat it once: quest complete, reward not shown.
  • Defeat it 10 times: Cursed Exorcist, which pays 5 Cursed Fingers and one Divine Orb.
  • Cursed Fingers curse a unit: one random buff, one random nerf.

What the boss quest actually says

In-game Quests panel shows 'King of Curses - Defeat King of Curses 1 time' and 'Cursed Exorcist - Defeat King of Curses 10 times' (reward: 5 cursed fingers + 1 divine orb).

That is a direct read of the in-game Quests panel, not a paraphrase. Two separate rows share the same target: one asks for a single kill and is titled "King of Curses," the other asks for ten kills and is titled "Cursed Exorcist." Only the second row had its reward text visible in the footage — 5 Cursed Fingers and 1 Divine Orb. The first quest's reward is real but undocumented, and this page will not guess at it.

What Cursed Fingers are for

Added in the JJK update. Obtained from the new secret boss, from codes, and from quests. 'Cursing' a unit applies ONE RANDOM BUFF AND ONE RANDOM NERF.

That closes a gap this site left open for a while: earlier, the only honest answer for what Cursed Fingers do was "nobody has published it." Patch notes read aloud on stream settle it — a Cursed Finger "curses" one of your units with a random buff and a random nerf at the same time, a real gamble rather than a straight upgrade. Codes are still the fastest way to stack a pile of them; see the code rewards calculator for the current total, or the full items page for how that figure is used elsewhere on the site.

Where the fight fits in the JJK update

King of Curses and Cursed Fingers both shipped in the same [JJK] update that added World 8, "Cursed High School" — the update's own badge data shows it is also the hardest world on record, with well under one percent of players who cleared World 1 reaching it. The footage this page is built from does not show the boss fight physically staged inside World 8 itself, so this page states the update it arrived in, not a location it was never shown standing in. The full world funnel has the exact player counts for every world, including World 8.

What we still don't know

  • The 1-kill "King of Curses" quest's own reward — the footage never shows it.
  • The boss's HP, attack pattern, or whether it needs a specific team composition — nothing published shows the fight itself, only the quest rows that track it.
  • Whether the fight repeats indefinitely after Cursed Exorcist, or caps out at ten counted kills.
  • The exact spend cost of "cursing" a unit with a Cursed Finger — the effect (one buff, one nerf) is documented, the cost is not.

Questions people actually ask

Is King of Curses a unit you roll, or a boss you fight?
A boss. The game's own Quests panel lists two quests against that exact name: "King of Curses - Defeat King of Curses 1 time" and "Cursed Exorcist - Defeat King of Curses 10 times." Some code-tracker sites describe it as a rollable unit with Sukuna-style power, but that description does not trace to anything this game's UI has shown, and it reads like a paraphrase of the JJK theme rather than an observed fact.
What do you get for defeating King of Curses the first time?
Not documented. The Quests panel shows the quest exists and is titled "King of Curses," but the reward text for the 1-kill tier was never on screen in the footage this page is built from. Only the 10-kill "Cursed Exorcist" reward was readable.
What is the Cursed Exorcist reward in Anime RNG Defense?
5 Cursed Fingers and 1 Divine Orb, for defeating King of Curses 10 times. That is the exact reward text shown next to the quest in the in-game Quests panel.
What are Cursed Fingers actually used for?
Added in the JJK update. Obtained from the new secret boss, from codes, and from quests. 'Cursing' a unit applies ONE RANDOM BUFF AND ONE RANDOM NERF.
Is Divine a rarity tier in Anime RNG Defense?
No confirmation of that. A Divine Roll and a Divine Orb are both real items, but an item named Divine is not the same claim as a Divine rarity tier. The only rarity word this game's own UI has shown on a unit card is Mythical.
Where does the King of Curses fight sit in the game?
It was added in the [JJK] update, the same patch that added World 8, "Cursed High School." The footage does not show the fight physically placed inside World 8, so treat that as the update it shipped in, not a confirmed location.

Where this came from

The quest text and the Cursed Fingers effect both come from the same gameplay footage, read frame by frame — not from another wiki, and not from either game's Discord.
