What Five Days of Roblox Badge Data Says About the World 7 Wall
A field-notes read of the same badge dataset behind our World pages, focused on the one drop-off that dwarfs every other step in Anime RNG Defense.
We scraped Anime RNG Defense's badge data once, on July 11, 2026, the same day the game itself last updated on Roblox. Every number on our Worlds page traces back to that single pull from the first-party Roblox badges API. This post isn't new data — it's us sitting with that one dataset for five days and writing down what actually stands out, instead of just tabulating it.
The numbers, in order
Here's the players-reached badge count for all eight worlds, straight from the scrape:
| World | Players reached | Share of World 1 |
|---|---|---|
| World 1 | 320,818 | 100% |
| World 2 | 158,450 | 49.4% |
| World 3 | 86,827 | 27.1% |
| World 4 | 57,376 | 17.9% |
| World 5 | 27,045 | 8.4% |
| World 6 | 13,404 | 4.2% |
| World 7 | 4,764 | 1.5% |
| World 8 | 1,983 | 0.6% |
Read top to bottom, it looks like a normal funnel: every step loses players, and later worlds obviously have fewer people in them just because Roblox badges accumulate over each player's whole time in the game, not a single session. That part isn't surprising. What we didn't expect going in was how uneven the losses are step to step.
Where the funnel actually breaks
Turning those totals into a step-over-step drop-off — how many of the people who reached one world never reached the next — makes the shape obvious in a way the raw counts don't:
World 1 to 2 loses about half the field (50.6%). World 5 to 6 loses just over half again (50.4%). Those are big drops, but they're the kind of drop-off you'd expect from a game that keeps thinning its player base at every stage. World 6 to World 7 is the outlier: 64.5% of the players who reached World 6 never reached World 7 — the single steepest step anywhere in the game, worse than the very first world transition when the field is largest and presumably includes the most players who bounce off immediately.
We don't have a mechanism to explain why World 7 specifically is where the game loses the most players relative to the step before it — the badge counts tell us where the wall is, not why it's there. What we can say is that the code INNOVATIONCITY corresponds to the official "World 7 - Innovation City" badge, and it's one of the higher-value active codes on our codes page right now: 200 Crystals plus 10 Common, 5 Rare, and 3 Epic Boxes. If World 7 is where the pity gets thin, that's the code we'd spend it on before pushing further.
What we're not claiming
Five days and one scrape is not a trend line. We can't tell you whether the World 6-to-7 wall has gotten steeper or shallower since launch, because we only have the one snapshot, and we're not going to plot a fake trend off a single data point dressed up as a graph. When we pull badge data again, if the gap between World 6 and World 7 moves meaningfully, that's worth its own post. Until then, this is what the one dataset we have actually shows, no more and no less — the same standard we hold the rest of the site to.
